Hello,I have a Dell Alienware X51 R2, Windows 8.1 64 bit.I'm trying to install the latest Framework.net 4.6.1 but I get an error message and an Installation Failed message, when using either the Online or Offline Installers. Finally succeeded to install it, and I'm afraid this was a mistake on my part. I had not performed prior to the installation all the 76 important updates in the Windows Update. None of them seemed related to Frameworks, it was all Security Updates or Explorerupdates, so I ignored them for the moment, as my Internet is quite slow. However, once I performed all the updates, and I tried the Framework installation (I used the basic Web Installer, just to be sure), it worked perfectly!Thank you anyway for your help; much appreciated!
